Biographical Note

Warren T. Kellogg was born December 1, 1841 in Troy, NY. He prepared at Troy Academy and received a degree in civil engineering from Rensselaer in 1861. He worked briefly as an assistant engineer at the New York Central Railroad in Albany, NY. He then established himself in an iron foundry and manufactured machinery in Cohoes. Warren T. Kellogg married Alice M. Eddy in 1865 and they made their home in Lansingburgh, NY.

Scope

This collection consists of manuscript drafts written by Warren T. Kellogg from 1896 to 1898. "Ruth and Her Grandfadder” was the only volume that reached publication. The collection also includes a folder of family photographs.
