Images

There are currently 2500 images accessible online. The Institute Archives and Special Collections holds thousands of images beyond what is currently represented in this database. Records are continually being added. Please contact Archives staff if your search does not return results.

To request high resolution images: add records to the Cart, click on the items in Cart and go to Request. Please include your name and mailing address in the message. Archives staff will respond with information about obtaining the image files, the associated fees and use permissions. A high resolution image is normally defined as a 300 dpi jpeg or tiff file scanned at 8 bit grayscale or 24 bit color on a high quality scanner.

Images may be subject to copyright restrictions. Reproduction or redistribution of these images is forbidden without the written consent of Archives Staff. Please contact the Archives for more information.

Publications

In addition to images, the database holds 300+ records for Institute Publications including official publications of the Institute, its schools, departments, and alumni (newsletters, college catalogs, directories, alumni magazines, etc.) and a variety of student publications (newspapers, yearbooks, humor magazines, etc.). Institute Publications can be accessed in person in the Institute Archives and Special Collections, 3rd floor Folsom Library, during regular business hours. Items may be reserved in advance by using the Cart function and Request form within the database.
