Access and Usage
Use of Rensselaer Libraries electronic journals and databases is governed by U.S. Copyright Law and contractual license agreements. Access is restricted to current Rensselaer students, faculty and staff and walk-in users of the Libraries. Usage of the material is permitted for education and research but is limited to non-commercial purposes. Copying or downloading of entire issues of a journal or any systematic downloading is prohibited, as is reselling, redistribution, or commercial use of the content. Users are expected to honor Copyright Law. Illegal or inappropriate usage can lead to loss of access for all Rensselaer users and possible legal action.

A collection of eBook titles is now integrated on EBSCOhost. eBooks on EBSCOhost include the same features as EBSCOhost databases along with specific features directly related to eBooks. Included in the collection are titles purchased by Rensselaer and freely accessible titles provided by EBSCO. Subjects include Art & Architecture, Business & Economics, Computer Science, Engineering & Technology, Health & Medicine, Philosophy, Political Science & Psychology, among others. -

Three distinct advanced searchs: one for meeting documents; one for publications , such as books and journals; and one for articles FAO documents and publications, and selected non-FAO publications dealing with food, food security, agriculture, aquaculture, forestry, and rural development.
