  About 20,000 fulltext books in most academic and general interest subject areas. Full text content can be searched and viewed online, printed without charge after installing the ebrary Reader, bookmarked, and saved for later reading if you have a free Ebrary account.
• EBSCOhost eBook Collection
  A collection of eBook titles is now integrated on EBSCOhost. eBooks on EBSCOhost include the same features as EBSCOhost databases along with specific features directly related to eBooks. Included in the collection are titles purchased by Rensselaer and freely accessible titles provided by EBSCO. Subjects include Art & Architecture, Business & Economics, Computer Science, Engineering & Technology, Health & Medicine, Philosophy, Political Science & Psychology, among others.

  Consists of a compilation of essential engineering information including data, facts, figures, graphs, equations, illustrations, and charts. Covers all disciplines of engineering.
• FAO Corporate Document Repository
  FAO documents and publications, as well as selected non-FAO publications, in electronic format. Three distinct advanced searchs: one for meeting documents; one for publications , such as books and journals; and one for articles FAO documents and publications, and selected non-FAO publications dealing with food, food security, agriculture, aquaculture, forestry, and rural development. Documents and publications will usually be available full-text in at least one of the FAO's official languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, French and Spanish.

  RAND is a nonprofit institution that helps improve policy and decisionmaking through research and analysis. Report and book topics include Criminal Justice, Education, Enterprise Analysis, Health, Civil Justice, and Science and Technology.
• Safari Tech Books Online
  Fully searchable ebook collections of books by publishers including O'Reilly, Pearson, Addison-Wesley, Alpha, Financial Times Prentice Hall, Cisco Press, New Riders, Peachpit Press, Prentice Hall PTR, Que and Sams.

  2.7 million searchable citations to dissertation and theses from around the world from 1861 to the present day. Searchable abstracts and/or 24 page previews are available for some dissertations and theses. Also searches Dissertations & Theses @ Rensselaer, which includes access to fulltext of many Rensselaer dissertations and theses.

• National Technical Reports Library (NTRL)
  Provides indexing and abstracts for more than two million historical and current government-sponsored technical reports archived by the National Technical Information Service. Over 500,000 documents are available in full-text.

  Resource for computer science technical reports, with the capacity to view in full text, from Cornell University.
• Technical Reports in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
  Resource for computer science technical reports, with the capacity to view many in full text, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
• TRAIL (Technical Report Archive and Image Library)
  A collaborative project involving the Greater Western Library Alliance and the Center for Research Libraries to digitize, archive, and provide persistent and unrestricted access to federal technical reports." So far, a number of AEC (Atomic Energy Commission) and NBS (National Bureau of Standards) reports have been included.

• Compendex (Engineering Village)
  Indexing for national and international engineering journals and papers from engineering conference proceedings.
• COS Conference Papers Index (ProQuest)
  Conference Papers provides citations to papers and poster sessions presented at scientific meetings around the world. Subject emphasis since 1995 has been in the life sciences, environmental sciences and the aquatic sciences, while older material also covers physics, engineering and materials science.

  MathSciNet is a comprehensive database covering the world's mathematical literature since 1940 Computer science is included.
• SPIE Digital Library
  SPIE (the International Society for Optical Engineering) is a not-for-profit society that has become the largest international force for the exchange, collection and dissemination of knowledge in optics, photonics and imaging. Help in using the database is available from the Help link on the main search page.

  Includes 400,000 bibliographic records covering transportation research published in books, journal articles, technical reports and other media; coverage includes Federal, state, local, and association publications.
• Web of Science (with Conference Proceedings)
  Includes all five ISI citation products: Science Citation Index Expanded; Social Sciences Citation Index; Arts and Humanities Citation Index; Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science; and Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Social Science and Humanities. Citation databases treat the references of an article as index terms, allowing them to be searched.

  A collection of working papers where NBER researchers initially report their findings. Nearly 500 NBER Working Papers are published each year, and many of these subsequently appear in scholarly journals. Also included in the collection are the NBER Technical Working Papers, a much smaller collection of papers focusing on applied mathematics and econometrics.

  Collaborative effort of 41 countries to enhance the dissemination of research in economics. Includes database of working papers, journal articles and software components. All RePEc material is freely available.
