Access and Usage
Use of Rensselaer Libraries electronic journals and databases is governed by U.S. Copyright Law and contractual license agreements. Access is restricted to current Rensselaer students, faculty and staff and walk-in users of the Libraries. Usage of the material is permitted for education and research but is limited to non-commercial purposes. Copying or downloading of entire issues of a journal or any systematic downloading is prohibited, as is reselling, redistribution, or commercial use of the content. Users are expected to honor Copyright Law. Illegal or inappropriate usage can lead to loss of access for all Rensselaer users and possible legal action.

Access to over 3500 titles from the netLibrary subject collections, as well as to several thousand, primarily literature, titles in the public collections. Significant collections in American and English literature, American history, economics and business, religion and philosophy, and political science.
