These databases are for finding journal articles, newspaper and magazine stories, conference proceedings, technical reports, and other forms of periodicals.

ABI/INFORM Dateline RPI Only
Search a unique resource focusing on hard-to-find local and regional business news coverage of large corporations, privately held companies, local start-ups, executive profiles, marketing, finance, and industry news. Provides access to business information not typically found in national news sources. Contains news and analysis, information on local markets, and more gathered from major business tabloids, magazines, daily newspapers, wire services, and city, state, and regional business publications.

ABI/INFORM Global RPI Only
Provides US and international information on advertising, economics, human resources, finance, marketing, computers, companies, and more. Coverage 1971 to present.

Academic Universe (Lexis Nexis) RPI Only
Provides access to a wide range of news, business, legal, medical and reference information. Coverage dates back more than 20 years for many areas.

ACM Digital Library RPI Only
Over 31,000 full-text articles published in ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) periodicals, 1985 to present, and ACM and ACM SIG proceedings, 1991 to present. Indexing and TOCs from 1985. ACM SIG newsletters will be added when available.

Aerospace and High Technology Database RPI Only
The CSA High Technology Research Database with Aerospace brings together in one place the most comprehensive bibliographic coverage of research, emerging technologies, applications and companies in the areas of aeronautics, astronautics, computer and information technology, electronics, communications, solid state materials and devices, and space sciences. ScienceDirect RPI Only
ScienceDirect is a web information source for scientific, technical, and medical research (STM) that offers access to more than 1,100 journals across 16 fields of science. ScienceDirect offers full-text articles, browseable tables of contents, and article abstracts.

Web of Knowledge RPI Only
Includes all three ISI citation products: Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts and Humanities Citation Index. Coverage is 1945 to present for over 8,000 core research journals and selective coverage for thousands of additional titles. Citation databases treat the references of an article as index terms, allowing them to be searched.
